Ransford Okley Tetteh is an environmental researcher with a passion for wastewater treatment and management. With over 3 years of experience in the field, Ransford has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to the effective and sustainable management of wastewater.
After completing MSc. Environmental Science at the University of Pannonia, Hungary in 2020, Ransford volunteered as a research assistant at United Nations ESCWA Technology Centre. There, he contributed to a variety of projects related to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) including research on the use of novel materials for water purification, the development of innovative wastewater treatment technologies, and the evaluation of the environmental and social impacts of wastewater management practices.
In addition to Ransford's work as a researcher, he has also been actively involved in promoting public awareness and engagement around issues related to wastewater management by serving as a member of African Young Water Professionals and World Youth Parliament for Water.
